What parents and school districts are saying

Laura's warmth, patience, and deep expertise helped our boys take critical steps in their speech and communication development. She met them where they were and made every session feel safe and engaging. We're forever grateful for her impact.

- Frank and Rosemary, parents

Under Laura's expert instruction, my daughter went from saying a few words to blossoming into full, understandable sentences. She improved by leaps and bounds, not only in vocabulary and articulation, but in social, emotional, and behavioral skills, learning how to use her words to engage with peers and teachers. I'm so grateful we had a chance to work with Laura!

- Kate, parent

As a fellow Speech Language Pathologist, I had the pleasure of a year long consulting program with Laura Rickard on an AAC case. I was consistently impressed with her knowledge, expertise, and approach. Laura possesses a deep understanding of AAC systems and their application for students of varying needs. She guided our team through the programming additions to the device, ensuring that it was addressing the specific needs of the student.

I had the privilege of attending Laura's AAC seminar. As someone who needs to utilize these programs, the information I gained was priceless. Would highly recommend for all staff and parents.

- Carrie, teaching assistant

I had the pleasure of working alongside Laura and can confidently say she is an outstanding speech-language pathologist. Her passion for the field is evident in everything she does—especially in her dedication to supporting students and advocating for their communication needs. She has a deep love for working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and brings both knowledge and creativity to her practice.

What stood out most during our time working together was her generosity in sharing her expertise. She not only supported her students but also mentored me in using AAC effectively, which has had a lasting impact on my own professional growth.

- Nicole, speech-language pathologist

As a special education teacher with 20 plus years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of working with Laura Rickard. She and I worked collaboratively to meet the communication needs of school-aged children. Laura is always responsive, respectful, and compassionate about her students' communication needs. While working together, I had the opportunity to participate in one of her AAC presentations. It was informative, as well as comprehensive. Laura is a passionate and professional speech and language pathologist who is highly skilled in the area of augmentative and alternative communication needs. I am proud to call her colleague and friend.
